Forschungsgemeinschaft Funk e.V. will close on December 31, 2009

At its extraordinary general meeting on April 2, 2009, the members of the Research Association for Radio Applications (FGF) reached a majority decision about the closing of the association with effect from December 31, 2009. This was the reaction of the association’s members to the new basic conditions and the changed general situation in research and research support on radiofrequent electromagnetic fields. The FGF website will stay available for at least one year in an unaltered way.

Final FGF workshop

The last FGF workshop in cooperation with the Environmental Ministry Baden-Württemberg was held in Stuttgart from November 23 to 25, 2009. Two topics were on the agenda: The current research on the influence of HF fields on brain processes as well as a look back to 17 years of FGF research and the scientific development of EMC research on an international level.
